Ticklinks: Tastelessly Tasteful
You’re warned. It is very likely that you’ll find one or even all of these videos went too far for your tastes…
- Geriatric Lemon Party – Things are dull at the retirement home until someone shouts, “Lemon Party!” From Talk Show with Spike Feresten.
- Apple: 17 Inches - Spoof of the popular Apple Switch commercials. Yes, it’s exactly what you’re thinking about.
- Hand Vagina – I have no words for this one…
Bonus videos:
- Hungry Pussy – No, it’s not what you’re thinking of.
- Horny Doctors – It’s Grey Anatomy without the uninteresting parts…
Hitler Banned From iSketch!
There is hell to pay if you mess with Hitler’s toys. Hilarious mash-up!
Update: Dek says it is a rip-off. The views in this video eclipses the other video and was also posted earlier. So I agree.
Onslaught

Dove launches the follow up to Evolution. Well thought, nice packed, nothing aimlessly shocking like Oliviero Toscani ‘s photo.

Once upon a time in the woods

A rotoscoped animation using unscripted footage from a hike in the woods with my 8 year old brother Julian. I rotoscoped it by hand drawing every frame, using a wacom tablet, even the titles.
The beautiful animation is secondary to Julian’s short but eloquent observation.
Things Fall Apart

Arresting stillness that teases more than shows. The tease, however, is quite good.
Imago…

Somebody put Cédric Babouche‘s animated short on PooTube, so I thought somebody could have been interested in watching it.
It’s the story of Antoine, 8 years old boy, and how he’s been able to deal with the death of his father in a (symbolic?) plane accident.
The movie starts in a very similar way than M. Dudok De Wit‘s Father and Daughter, but it then develops in a different direction.

Early glimpses into This American Life TV show

The radio podcast of This American Life was a wonderful companion to my drive to Atlanta. There has been talk about the show coming to television, many listeners, like myself, were confused on how this show would translated to a visual medium.
This animated sneak peak is better than I’d expected. I had expected something along the lines of Errol Morris but this animated style actually works better. This episode is another classic, its theme is about how seeing affects our doing. A little depressing, actually.

Let’s Fighting Love!

A classic South Park moment where the guys start an anime style, ninja fighting, with the mandatory, fan subtitled, Engrish song.

Children are a gift

The natural performance of the child is so wonderful. Everything else seems like a prop to his body language. The scene/ short basically revolves around a little boy looking for an adult to wipe his bum. Don’t stop watching when the credits roll because the end is fantastic, my favorite part.
