Joel Compass “Back To Me”
A tale told only with cinemagraphs. Lovely black & white cinematography.
Shugo Tokumaru – “Katachi”
A lovely textured stop motion that reaches incredible heights at certain moments. Even though I don’t speak Japanese, I felt like I understood the meaning and much of that is due to the visual language created in the video.
The Modern Dance
This meticulous video is full of original ideas.

POST WAR YEARS – ALL EYES
Another stunning video by Tobias Stretch.
Delta Rae – Bottom of the River
Great song and performed beautifully. Shot by Steve Milligan.
Woodkid – Iron
RÖYKSOPP – SENIOR LIVING
The time shifts are lovely. I think cinema should officially replace the cigarette with the lollipop.
THE WHO – TATTOO
Incredible graphics, almost too much. Thanks Chris.
Seymour Bits – Put It Back Down
New York is killing me (Chris Cunningham remix)
The first half is so haunting. Lovely lovely work. Using multiple channels/screens can be tiresome but this adds up. No image or screen trumps the other, they work together in unison.
Watch it (that link will surely change so it will need updating).
