Rhwinter suggests this scene from The Big Lebowski as part of our ongoing Favorite Scenes series from the movies. I have created a seperate category for these posts. If you would like to submit a scene, leave it in the comments.

funny….
Ok, just remembered another one that should never be left out and (obviously found it on youTube). It is “Eddie Barzoon, god’s special creature” which is simply amazing everytime. I wonder how much you have to pay Al Pacino for him to say: “We’ve got a billion Eddie Barzoons all jogging into the future, every one of them ready to fistfuck god’s ex-planet”!!! (It’s a real shame that Keanu Reeves is such a… Keanu Reeves).
This movie has some excellent quotes.
This one is a winner too, I mean: “His own private gag reel”, “It’s the goof of all time”, “He’s laughing his sick, fucking ass off!”, “He’s a tightass”, “He’s a sadist”, and on and on, all with capital H’s!
Guess, what?… Me again!
Ok, yet another one… This time from “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas”: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSKX6S8R90Y
I’m not really sure if this is one of those great-great scenes, but I can tell I get the exact same feeling that is described here more often than I’d like; even without sniffing ether and whatnot:
“Bazooko’s Circus is what the whole hep world would be doing Saturday nights if the Nazis had won the war. This was the Sixth Reich.” (pulled from: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120669/quotes )
This quote alone is well worth the entire film, but mind that it is a masterpiece, I mean Hunther Thompson *and* Terry Gilliam?!? Doesn’t get much better than this…
PS: the video for “This is what happens when you fuck a stranger in the ass” has been removed, in its place you’ll find the (not really) equally hilarious “This is what happens when you find a stranger in the alps“, both here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQUdJ6FdUQ0 and here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YHXdnWLvH4.
PPS: the quote for the previous comment on “Fear and Loathing” comes from about 3:47 into the clip mentioned there, but you’ll probably find others along the entire 8 mins of this…
