When this first started was not a bad idea at all, but has gotten so commerialized. This “contest” is based on mostly looks which is somewhat needed cause you do need the look down but it’s all jumping around and who can be the flashy not nessecarily how techinal their hands work or how they work the neck or ferets for that matter. I myself have put a new twist on the air guitar, it’s a modified air guitar, a real guitar with no strings. This way you can see how good someone really is. Not just a long haired shirtless guy on stage running around like their on crack. Let me show up with this new wave of Air Guitar and blow these half talented hacks out of the water. Anybody can move their fingers and hands around in the air, lets see you do it on a stringless guitar.
